How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the Labrador shown from behind or facing the viewer?
From behind. The dog sits with its back to you and its head turned slightly to the right, so you read the breed by its posture and ears rather than its face. It's a calmer composition than a head-on pet portrait, and it works better as wall art in a quiet room.
Does this look like a golden Labrador or a yellow Labrador specifically?
It reads as a pale golden Labrador — cream body with warm tan shading rather than a deeper red-gold. Owners of yellow and lighter golden Labradors tend to recognise it most. It isn't a chocolate or black Lab, and the brushwork is loose enough that it's a breed portrait rather than a specific dog likeness.
Will the soft sage background fight with a warm-cream or white wall?
No. The sage in the print is muted and warm-leaning, so it sits comfortably against off-white, cream or warm-white walls without clashing. It pulls harder against cool greys and crisp brilliant whites, so if your room runs cool, an oak frame helps bridge the temperature.
