How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Does this read as a Christmas print, or can I hang it year-round?
It hints at winter through pine sprigs and red berries, but there are no baubles, ribbons or seasonal text — only exhibition information. Most homes hang it from late autumn through to early spring without it feeling out of place, and the cream ground and dragonfly subject keep it grounded as a botanical piece rather than a holiday one.
How dominant is the deep red — will it fight other colours in the room?
The red is concentrated in the dragonfly's body and a few small berries, surrounded by lots of warm cream. It reads as a single colour pulse rather than a saturated print. It sits well with dark green, burgundy, oak and brass, but will compete in a room already built around pinks, oranges or terracotta.
Is the lettering at the top and bottom legible from across the room?
The 'William Morris' header and 'South Kensington' lines are bold and read clearly from a few metres away. The smaller dates and opening hours are intentionally fine print — they're part of the museum-poster feel but won't be readable from across a large room. Up close, they add detail and authenticity.
