How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the dark background look too heavy in a small hallway?
It anchors a small hallway rather than shrinking it. The dark green reads as depth, not weight, especially against a chalky off-white or panelled wall, with a lamp or wall light nearby to lift the gold dragonfly and bring out the wing detail in the evenings.
How much of the poster is typography versus image?
Typography takes the top strip and a smaller block at the base — William Morris at the top, South Kensington exhibition details below. The dragonfly and botanicals fill the middle two thirds. From a couple of metres back it reads as image first, words second.
Does it work next to other botanical prints, or is it best on its own?
It can sit next to quieter botanicals — small bellflower studies, single-stem prints, soft pressed-flower pieces — as long as they don't compete on gold or scale. Avoid pairing with another poster-style statement; one hero per wall is the rule here.
