How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the deep blue make a small bathroom feel darker?
Not really. The water is deep but the orange sun streak at the top and the bright blue-green flashes keep the piece lively. In a small white or pale-tile bathroom it actually makes the space feel more interesting, not heavier. Avoid pairing it with very dark walls if you want the brightness to read.
Is the swimmer the main focus, or is the water?
The water and the light are doing as much work as the swimmer. The figure sits roughly in the upper third, with most of the canvas given over to brushy blue water below and a streak of orange sunlight above. Read as a mood piece first, a sport piece second.
Does the composition pull the eye in a particular direction?
Yes — there's a diagonal flow from the bright sunlight at the top down through the swimmer's outstretched arm into the deeper water below. That means it sits best on a wall where you can stand back a little and let the eye travel, rather than squeezed into a tight corner.
