How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the dense floral background look too busy in a small room?
It can, if the surrounding wall is also patterned. In a small room, keep the wall around it plain and the furniture in front of it simple — a single console or sideboard works better than a layered shelf. The pattern reads as one big block rather than chaos when given some breathing room.
Does the exhibition typography date the print or make it feel like a museum-shop poster?
It leans museum-shop on purpose. The 'Cotton Prints Exhibition' caption and Underground roundel give it a vintage poster feel rather than a straight botanical illustration. If you want something more painterly with no text, this isn't the one — but if you like that gallery-poster character, it's part of the appeal.
What wall colour does this sit best against?
Warm off-white, soft cream, clay, muted sage or a warm taupe all work well. The deep green background and red parrot need a wall that doesn't fight them, so steer clear of cool greys, bright whites or anything in the same red family. A warm neutral lets the pattern do the talking.
