How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft pink background read as too feminine in a family kitchen?
It's a chalky, slightly dusty pink — closer to plaster than bubblegum. Sat next to pale wood, rattan or warm white walls, it reads as warm and casual rather than girly, and the blue cutlery and red sauce stop it leaning sweet.
Is the lettering easy to read from across a room?
Yes. 'Pasta e Vino' is hand-drawn in a clear mid blue across the top third of the print, with plenty of space around it. At medium size it's readable from a few metres away, which makes it good for a wall you see from the dining table.
Does it work in a modern white kitchen, or only in warm trattoria-style rooms?
It works in both, but does different jobs. In a warm cream or plaster kitchen it blends in and adds character. In a white modern kitchen the pink becomes the colour accent, so treat it as the one warm thing on the wall rather than mixing in lots of other tones.
