How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the pink be too much in a small kitchen?
The pink is soft and chalky rather than hot, and it sits on a warm cream background, so it reads as a gentle holiday colour rather than a bold statement. In a small kitchen with white or cream cabinets and pale wood, it tends to warm the room up without taking over.
What size works best above a console or sideboard?
A medium portrait size sits well above a standard console or sideboard, leaving a hand's width of wall either side. There is a lot of small detail in the buildings, so you want it close enough to read at eye-level — go too large and the scene starts to feel like wallpaper.
Does it suit a quieter, neutral home?
Yes, and that's where it tends to look best. Against white or off-white walls with pale wood, linen and a few terracotta or stoneware pieces, the pink villas and blue trattoria become the single warm focal point. Busy patterned walls or other strong illustrations will fight it.
