How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the yellow loud, or does it sit back in the room?
It's a mustard yellow on a warm sandy background, not a bright lemon. It reads as cheerful and warm rather than loud, and it sits down nicely against cream walls, pale wood and oat textiles. If your nursery is already in earthy tones, it will feel like it belongs rather than shouting from the wall.
Will my toddler still like this in a year or two?
Probably yes. There's no cartoon character or trend tied to it, just a friendly chick and the word chick. Most parents find this kind of simple animal art carries from newborn through to toddler and into a first proper kids' room, especially when the rest of the scheme stays earthy rather than themed.
What size works above a standard cot or changing table?
A medium portrait size is the sweet spot — large enough that a baby on the changing mat can see it clearly, but not so big it dominates a small nursery wall. Hang it low, at roughly child eye-level when standing in the cot, rather than at adult eye-level.
