How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft pink background clash with off-white walls?
No. The pink here is dusty rather than bright, so it sits happily against off-white, cream or warm plaster walls. On very cool white walls it will read slightly warmer, which usually helps. If your wall is already pink, choose a shade a little lighter or darker than the painting so the two don't blur into each other.
Is a portrait like this too intense for a bedroom?
Most people find it calm rather than confronting. The girl's gaze is steady but soft, and the colours are gentle. If you'd rather not have a face directly opposite the bed, hang it on the side wall above a chest of drawers instead — you'll still see it, just not head-on at night.
What size works best on a narrow wall?
Aim for a medium size on walls around 60cm wide or more. The face carries most of the picture, so it needs enough scale to read properly from a couple of metres away. Anything too small loses the brushwork and the green bow, which is the piece's main point of colour.
