How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the bright blue sky feel too much in a small room?
It's a clean, summery blue rather than a heavy one, so it tends to open a small room up rather than close it down. In bathrooms, downstairs loos and narrow hallways it reads as a window onto the coast. Pair with white or pale walls so the blue stays the bright bit.
Is the style painterly or graphic?
Painterly. You can see brush marks in the foliage and the villa walls, and the colour is laid down in flat-ish shapes rather than fine detail. It sits closer to a modern gouache illustration than a sharp vector poster, so it pairs well with hand-thrown ceramics and natural textures.
Does the composition pull the eye anywhere specific?
Yes — the pale path runs from the bottom centre up to the white villa, and the deep blue sea sits behind it. That gives the print a clear focal point, so it works well on its own above a console or bed rather than buried in a busy gallery wall.
