How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the bright yellow and blue overwhelm a small kitchen?
Not if the wall around it stays calm. On chalky off-white or soft cream, the colours read as cheerful rather than loud. Keep nearby surfaces uncluttered, lean into warm timber and woven texture, and let this be the one bold point in the room. In a small kitchen, a medium size above a console or breakfast nook works better than going large.
Does this work in a room that isn't Mediterranean in style?
Yes. The colours sit comfortably in modern, boho and coastal-leaning rooms too. It lifts neutral schemes with linen, rattan and oak, and it brings warmth into cooler rooms with grey-blue or pale green walls. Avoid pairing it with heavy traditional gilt frames or very dark, formal interiors — it wants a lighter, breezier setting.
What size should I choose for above a console or sideboard?
Aim for the artwork to span roughly two-thirds of the furniture's width. Above a standard console or small sideboard, a medium portrait size usually lands best — large enough to anchor the wall without crowding lamps or objects on the surface. Leave a clear gap of around 15-20 cm between the top of the furniture and the bottom of the frame.
