How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is this one of Rousseau's jungle paintings?
No — this is one of his calmer works, painted in 1908 along the Bièvre river near Bicêtre, on the edge of Paris. You'll see tall slender trees, a winding path, a dark fence, and two small figures, with a red-brick viaduct in the distance. It's gentler in mood and palette than his better-known jungle scenes.
Will the soft cream sky look washed out on a white wall?
The sky reads more as soft cream and pale grey than bright white, so it sits comfortably against off-white or plaster walls without disappearing. The dark trunks, deep green leaves, and rust-coloured viaduct give it enough contrast to hold its own. On a stark bright-white wall, an oak or black frame helps it sit more firmly.
Does it work as a single piece or does it need companions?
It works best as a single anchor — above a bed, a hallway console, or a reading-chair corner. The composition already has a lot going on, with leaning trees, a path, and figures, so a busy gallery wall around it tends to compete. If you do pair it, keep companions small, quiet, and in the same soft-green and cream family.
