How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the deep navy make a small room feel darker?
Not usually. Because most of the print is a single flat navy with cream drawing on top, it reads as one calm shape rather than a heavy block. In a small bedroom or hallway it actually adds depth, especially against pale walls and pale wood furniture, without closing the room in the way a patterned dark print would.
Does it work above a bed with a wooden or upholstered headboard?
Yes. The vertical composition sits comfortably above a standard headboard. Pale oak and walnut both work, and cream or soft grey upholstered headboards pick up the silhouettes nicely. Centre it above the bed with a clear gap of wall on either side so the navy ground has room to settle.
Will the cream in the print clash with bright white bedding or walls?
The drawing is a warm cream rather than a pure white, so it sits softly against bright white linen and freshly painted white walls without looking dirty or yellow. If your room is full of cool greys and stark whites, layer in one warmer texture — a linen throw or a stoneware lamp — to tie everything together.
