How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
How loose is the brushwork up close?
Quite loose and confident — you can see individual strokes in the cypress, the chair and the scattered leaves on the terrace. From a normal viewing distance of around two metres it reads as a calm, sunlit scene; closer up it feels more like a small oil study, which is part of its charm.
Will the warm pink terrace clash with a cool grey room?
It can. The terrace floor is a soft warm pink and the sea is a deep blue, so the piece reads warm overall. If your sofa, walls and rug all lean cool grey or icy blue, it may feel out of step. It sits much more happily with warm whites, washed timber, linen and stoneware.
Does it work as a single piece, or do I need to pair it?
It holds a wall on its own, especially above a sofa, console or bed. If you want to build a small gallery, keep companions quieter — a soft botanical, a calm seascape or a minimal line study in similar warm tones. Avoid sharp monochrome or graphic typography next to it.
