    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Will the pink read as very pink on the wall?

    It reads as a soft, dusty pink rather than a bright one, and the large grey silhouette takes up much of the space. Against off-white or pale grey walls the pink shows as a gentle warm glow. Against strong warm walls like terracotta or mustard it will look muddier, so keep the surrounding wall pale.

    Does the face still read from across the room?

    Yes. The profile edge on the left is the sharpest part of the composition, so from two or three metres away you read the face and shoulders first. The broken grey washes only become obvious up close, which is part of the appeal — it rewards a second look without demanding attention.

    Can I hang it alongside black and white photography?

    It works well with it. The charcoal and near-black tones give you a shared anchor, and the pink background stops the group feeling cold. Keep the photographs simpler in composition and let this be the largest piece so the group has a clear centre.
