    Gennaio è il momento in cui l’ingresso chiede aiuto: la porta si apre sul grigio, i cappotti si accatastano e l’unica finestra non restituisce nulla. Appendi qui il cane. Il senape profondo trattiene il calore anche sotto una lampadina nuda, mentre le macchie blu navy offrono all’occhio un ritmo da seguire mentre ti sfili gli stivali. Sta benissimo sopra assi chiare o cotto, con una parete bianco gesso sullo sfondo. Nessuna fantasia nel raggio di un metro. Con gli occhi chiusi, trasmette calma e pazienza: esattamente ciò che serve in un mattino feriale. Sceglilo da 50 cm per lato o più: più piccolo e le macchie si fondono in una trama e l’ironia si affievolisce. Ad aprile non lo toglierai. Su tela, il senape corre fino al bordo: muro e colore si incontrano senza interruzioni.

    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Il senape funziona con un corridoio grigio?

    Sì, e meglio di molti altri colori. I grigi medi e chiari fanno apparire il senape più caldo, e le macchie blu navy riprendono l’eventuale componente fredda del grigio nella pittura. Evita i grigi con sottotoni verdi o gialli, che sporcherebbero l’abbinamento.     Che dimensione dovrei appendere in una camera da bambino?

    Scegli circa 50 cm quadrati e appendilo più in basso rispetto a come faresti per gli adulti, più o meno all’altezza degli occhi del bambino quando è in piedi. A questa misura le macchie si leggono come segni distinti e il cane ha presenza dalla soglia. Sta bene sopra un letto basso o un baule dei giochi. Le misure più piccole vanno bene in una composizione con due o tre pezzi più tranquilli intorno.

    È un dalmata?

    È un cane maculato disegnato come personaggio, non come studio di una razza, quindi i proprietari di dalmati vedranno il loro cane in lui, così come quelli di pointer e spaniel. Le macchie sono pennellate libere, non un manto accurato. Se vuoi la somiglianza fedele di una razza precisa, questo non è il soggetto giusto, ma se vuoi un cane con un po’ di personalità, sì.
