    Riguardo a quest'opera
    La parete sopra la testiera è quella che molti abbandonano: larga, bassa, difficile da valorizzare. Questo soggetto la risolve con naturalezza. A un metro di larghezza, il fiume percorre tutta la misura di un letto matrimoniale, mentre il cielo chiaro si adagia all’altezza dei cuscini. Il seppia caldo, su una parete bianco gesso, risulta avvolgente e non cupo, e dialoga con un giroletto in rovere scuro che mal sopporta i colori vivaci. Biancheria in lino color avena o pietra. Una sola lampada. Niente cuscini fantasia: le colline bastano a dare movimento alla parete. In una camera esposta a nord, la foschia dell’immagine riprende la luce esterna: una fortuna rara. Tesa su tela, l’opera non ha vetro: la lampada da comodino non crea riflessi sull’acqua.

    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Un quadro marrone renderà la mia camera da letto più scura?

    L’ideale è che il quadro copra circa due terzi o fino alla larghezza completa della testiera. Per un letto matrimoniale standard nel Regno Unito significa circa 100-135 cm di larghezza. Più piccolo e il fiume e le colline lontane diventano una striscia marrone vista da lontano. Il formato 2:1 mantiene l’altezza contenuta, quindi anche alla massima larghezza non appesantisce il soffitto.

    Funziona in soggiorno tanto quanto in camera da letto?

    Sì, sopra un divano funziona allo stesso modo, riempiendo il lungo spazio basso che i quadri quadrati lasciano vuoto. Si adatta a stanze con pelle, legno scuro o un tappeto di lana color avena o grigio. In un soggiorno con molti colori nei cuscini e nei plaid può risultare un po’ più sobrio, quindi dà il meglio dove i tessuti restano neutri.
