Riguardo a quest'opera
La superficie lucida delle piastrelle dà vita all’immagine dove la vernice opaca la appiattirebbe. Su una parete in intonaco chiaro, i tasselli bianchi sembrano staccarsi dal fondo, come fossero piastrelle vere incastonate nel muro. Il fondo nero crea un contrasto deciso con i toni panna; il rosa tenue nelle orecchie e nel bordo inferiore riprende con eleganza qualsiasi nuance cipria o grigio polveroso già presente nell’ambiente. Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Il fondo nero renderà più buia una piccola cucina?
Meno di quanto pensi. Circa il quaranta percento dell’immagine è bianco sporco e grigio chiaro, e il gatto bianco sta al centro, dove cade prima lo sguardo. Il nero funziona più come contorno che come campitura. Se la parete dietro è chiara, l’effetto resta netto e non pesante. In una cucina esposta a nord, appendilo di fronte alla finestra così la luce colpisce le piastrelle bianche.
Quanto deve essere largo sopra un divano o una panca da pranzo?
Punta a due terzi della larghezza del mobile. Su un divano a due posti standard, cioè circa 100 cm, e su una panca da pranzo da 180 cm, circa 120 cm. La forma è larga il doppio rispetto all’altezza, quindi un metro di larghezza dà un’altezza di circa 50 cm, che si inserisce bene nello spazio tra lo schienale del divano e il soffitto.
Il bordo rosa stona con una cucina grigia?
Di solito aiuta. Il bordo mescola rosa polveroso, grigio ardesia e crema, quindi ha già il grigio dentro, e il rosa è morbido, non dolce. Con mobili grigi o un pavimento in pietra grigia, il rosa aggiunge una nota calda senza cambiare il carattere dell’insieme. Evita di abbinarlo a uno schienale rosso acceso o arancione, perché entrerebbe in conflitto.
