Riguardo a quest'opera
Tela “The Unimpressed Cat”. Marzo è il mese in cui merita il suo posto a parete. Fuori il giardino tace ancora, e quel corridoio con una striscia di fiori rosa sembra in anticipo di due settimane sul tempo. Concedile la parete stretta vicino all’ingresso: appendila in modo che lo sguardo del gatto sia all’altezza degli occhi quando ti sfili gli stivali. Le righe rosso ruggine risaltano nitide su una parete bianca; su un rosa cipria si scaldano con eleganza. Parquet in pino e zerbino in cocco sotto, un paio di appendiabiti accanto, e lascia il resto della parete libero. Appendila in verticale e bassa. I bambini si fermano a parlarle; gli adulti notano l’espressione corrucciata e si sentono meglio del lunedì. A giugno i fiori veri l’hanno raggiunta, e il gatto resta imperturbabile: è proprio questo il bello. Su tela, la texture pennellata del fondo si legge come la parete stessa, senza vetro tra voi e l’opera.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

What's your return policy?
If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.
We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Quanto deve essere grande per una parete del corridoio?
Scegli una misura più grande di quanto ti sembri sensato. In un corridoio lo vedi da vicino e anche in fondo, quindi deve avere abbastanza altezza da leggersi come una figura, non come una striscia. Su un tratto di parete largo 60 cm, una misura 40 x 80 cm lo riempie senza toccare il telaio della porta. Su un pianerottolo con più spazio, 50 x 100 cm lascia alle strisce il compito di farsi vedere dal basso delle scale.
Il verde salvia funziona su una parete verde?
Dipende dalla tonalità. Su una parete verde salvia chiaro o verde eau de nil il fondo quasi scompare e il gatto con i fiori sembra sospeso, cosa che appare voluta e molto bella. Su un verde bosco o bottiglia scuro il salvia smorzato vira al grigio e l’insieme perde forza. Pareti bianche, crema e rosa polveroso gli danno il contorno più netto e mantengono vivo il rosso ruggine.
È troppo infantile per uno spazio da adulti?
L’umorismo è più secco che tenero, ed è per questo che regge bene anche in un corridoio usato da adulti. I colori sono smorzati, il disegno è piatto e grafico, e il cipiglio si legge come una battuta sui gatti, non come un cartone per bambini. In cucina o nel bagno di servizio strappa un sorriso agli ospiti. In una sala formale sembrerebbe fuori posto.
