    Riguardo a quest'opera
    Ottobre è il suo momento: la luce cala presto, il nursery ingrigisce già alle quattro e una parete color terracotta riporta subito calore nella stanza. Appendila nella striscia stretta accanto al lettino, dove nulla di più largo entrerebbe. Il rosa, vicino al tono dell’intonaco, si armonizza con una parete bianco panna senza contrastare. Sotto, betulla o rovere chiaro; sulla sedia, una coperta ruggine ripiegata: l’ambiente sembra illuminarsi dall’interno anche nei pomeriggi più bui. Ai bambini piace la giraffa. Agli adulti piace il colore. Entrambi resistono ben oltre gli anni del nido, più di quanto facciano la maggior parte delle immagini per cameretta. Appendila abbastanza in basso perché un bimbo in piedi possa incrociarne lo sguardo. Sulla tela, le tracce di pennello si leggono come pittura, senza vetro tra la stanza e la terracotta.

    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Il terracotta sarà troppo intenso per una cameretta piccola?

    Non se la parete dietro resta chiara. Il terracotta su una parete bianco sporco calda si legge come calore e non come peso, e la metà rosa dell’immagine lo rende ancora più morbido. Tieni gli altri colori della stanza su avena, ruggine e legno naturale e si inserirà benissimo. Contro una parete rosa o grigia, invece, stona, quindi meglio evitarle.

    Quanto grande dovrei prenderlo su una parete stretta?

    Più grande di quanto pensi d’istinto. Su una parete tra due porte o accanto a una culla, un quadro alto vuole occupare quasi tutta l’altezza tra il livello della vita e la cima della porta. Circa 40 x 80 cm funziona su una parete da 50 cm, e 50 x 100 cm è adatto a un corridoio o a un pianerottolo dove lo vedi da lontano.

    Sta bene solo in una stanza da bambino?

    No. La stesura pittorica sciolta e i blocchi di colore terracotta e rosa funzionano in un corridoio adulto, su un pianerottolo o in una sala da pranzo calda con canna e rovere. Da lontano si legge prima come colore e poi come animale, ed è per questo che molti lo scelgono per una parete stretta senza bambini in casa.
