    Tela che cattura una giornata di neve in una strada di Budapest: una scena quieta e luminosa che porta in casa il silenzio ovattato di un mattino gelido. Collocala accanto a una panca da ingresso sottile, quella su cui ci si siede per sfilare gli stivali. Un’immagine alta richiede un elemento basso sotto: la panca offre all’occhio un “pavimento” su cui posarsi prima di risalire. Il bianco spesso della neve dialoga con una panca verniciata meglio di qualsiasi cuscino, mentre le ombre lavanda riprendono le tonalità di un pavimento in pietra grigia. Tieni la panca libera: un solo paio di stivali va bene. Evita accumuli di cappotti che rubano quiete. Dipingi la parete dietro in bianco sporco o grigio chiaro: la luce fredda della neve si spegne contro colori caldi. Allinea il bordo inferiore della tela a una mano sopra la seduta. L’ingresso acquista l’atmosfera di quel freddo mattino da cui sei felice di rientrare. Su tela, le creste di pittura emergono come superficie viva, senza nulla fra te e la materia.

    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    I colori chiari spariranno su una parete bianca?
    Su una parete bianca brillante la neve si fonde un po’ ai bordi, quindi il pezzo appare più morbido e quasi come una finestra. Pareti grigio morbido o bianco sporco gli danno un contorno più netto senza litigare con i toni freddi. Se la tua parete è bianco puro, una cornice in argento o nero definisce il bordo e le figure e le auto scure danno all’occhio un punto su cui fermarsi.

    Quanto grande dovrebbe essere per un corridoio?
    Meglio più grande di quanto ti sembri sensato. In un corridoio lo guardi da vicino e anche dalla parte opposta, e la forma alta ha bisogno di circa 40 cm di larghezza perché figure e spazzaneve si leggano come una scena e non come segni. Per un corridoio standard di una casa a schiera, una misura grande appesa con il centro all’altezza degli occhi riempie la parete senza toccare battiscopa o soffitto.

    Si adatta solo ai mesi invernali?
    La scena è innevata, ma i colori sono bianchi e grigi freddi, che stanno bene in una stanza tutto l’anno. In estate si legge come un angolo fresco e silenzioso, più che come un’immagine stagionale. Funziona meglio in ambienti già chiari e tranquilli, e meno dove vuoi calore e colore forte durante i mesi freddi.
