    Riguardo a quest'opera
    Una parete ce l’abbiamo tutti: quella striscia tra porta d’ingresso e scala, troppo stretta per uno specchio e troppo alta per restare nuda. Questa tela è fatta per quel punto. La linea nera del lampione corre in verticale per tutta l’altezza e trasforma un vuoto residuale in una scelta precisa. Il fondo avorio, su una parete dal finish gessoso, quasi scompare: lascia parlare il nero, mentre il rosa cipria resta discreto sullo sfondo. Appendila più in basso di quanto verrebbe naturale, con il bordo inferiore all’incirca allineato al caposcala, e lascia che l’altezza del soffitto completi l’effetto. I ganci appendiabiti mettili dall’altro lato. Non serve altro. Sul pianerottolo vale la stessa regola: un unico pezzo alto e parete libera attorno. Stampata su tela, si appende senza cornice a vista: la scelta ideale per spazi stretti e verticali.

    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Il lato nero risulterà pesante in un ingresso piccolo?

    Meno di quanto pensi. Circa tre quarti dell’immagine è bianco sporco, quindi su una parete bianco caldo gran parte si legge come parete. Il nero scende su un bordo e si comporta più come una porta alta e scura che come un’immagine scura. Appeso con il bordo nero vicino alle scale o a una porta, l’occhio lo accetta come parte dell’architettura.

    Quanto grande dovrei prenderlo su un pianerottolo?

    Meglio alto che prudente. Su un pianerottolo l’osservatore è di solito a due o tre metri di distanza e guarda verso l’alto, quindi qualsiasi cosa sotto gli 80 cm di altezza perde i dettagli del lampione e si riduce a una striscia scura. Un pezzo alto 100 cm o più riempie bene la parete, e la larghezza ridotta lascia ancora spazio al corrimano e alla curva della scala.

    Il rosa si vede davvero, o sembra beige?

    Da lontano si legge come un tono carta caldo, vicino al beige. A distanza ravvicinata, con buona luce naturale, il blush è chiaro nella torre e nella striscia sul bordo sinistro. Se vuoi che il rosa si noti, aggiungi vicino un cuscino in lino blush o una coperta rosa pallido e l’occhio lo ritrova. Su una parete grigio freddo sembrerà più caldo e decisamente più rosa.
