Riguardo a quest'opera
Un classico motivo di William Morris che prende vita con la luce del giorno. Appeso sul pianerottolo, al mattino il blu emerge per primo, poi risaltano le foglie e, a metà mattina, si colgono anche i tratti a matita. Nel tardo pomeriggio il fondo avorio assume il tono dell’intonaco antico e l’opera si integra con la parete. Perfetta con pittura bianco gesso intorno e un corrimano in legno verniciato sotto, senza altre decorazioni su quella rampa. Predilige lo sviluppo verticale: lascia il bordo inferiore poco sopra il corrimano, così chi sale la incontra allo sguardo. In un ingresso esposto a nord resta fresca e silenziosa tutto il giorno, qualità che le donano. Con lampade serali calde il blu vira verso l’inchiostro, con un effetto affascinante. Su tela, la trama dialoga con il disegno volutamente incompiuto.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Le aree vuote sembreranno incomplete sulla mia parete?
Sembrano volute, non mancanti. Gli angoli solo a matita si leggono come una texture chiara da lontano, e l’occhio segue il navy al centro. Su una parete bianca o grigio chiaro la carta vuota quasi si fonde con la pittura, quindi il motivo sembra nascere dalla parete invece di starci sopra. Su una parete di colore intenso i bordi si vedono di più, quindi tieni la pittura chiara.
Il navy funziona in una stanza dai toni caldi?
Sì, con attenzione. Il navy su pareti crema va bene e su bianco caldo si fa più profondo, quasi inchiostro. Le pareti terracotta, senape o pesca lo contrastano male, perché l’ombreggiatura grigia diventa opaca accanto ai colori caldi. Se la stanza tende al caldo, appendilo sulla parete più chiara e lascia che il calore arrivi dal legno e dai tessuti, non dalla pittura di fondo.
È troppo carico per un corridoio piccolo?
Non se è l’unica cosa sulla parete. Il motivo è fitto ma i colori sono pochi, quindi dalla porta si legge come un’unica forma navy e bianca, non come tanti piccoli elementi. In un corridoio stretto appendilo di fronte alle scale o sulla parete di fondo, così lo vedi frontalmente, e tieni attaccapanni e specchi dall’altro lato.
