    About this card

The front shows a pheasant perched among fir branches on a black background. Red berries and painted baubles hang around it, with gold sprigs between them. The bird has a red head, a green neck and a long striped tail in orange and brown. The picture sits inside a cream poster border with the words William Morris, Arts & Crafts Pioneer, and exhibition details for South Kensington.

Send it at Christmas to a friend who likes museums and galleries, or to a mum who has a soft spot for Morris patterns. It also works for a December birthday or a winter thank you. The dark background and deep reds make it feel seasonal without being cutesy.

The card is blank inside, so you can write your own message. It comes with an envelope and is printed in the UK. Buy one, or a pack of 10, 20, 50 or 100 if you are sending a batch.

    Paper

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is this an original William Morris design?

No. It is a modern illustration presented as an exhibition poster in tribute to Morris. The pheasant and foliage follow the Arts and Crafts spirit but are not a reproduction of his work.

    Is the card blank inside?

Yes. The inside is left blank so you can write your own message. An envelope is included with each card.

Can I buy these in bulk for Christmas?

Yes. The card is sold singly or in packs of 10, 20, 50 and 100, so you can cover your whole list with one design.
