Breng kleur en energie in de keuken. Met deze canvas valt eerst het oranje op, dan het rood, en pas daarna de knipoog naar het spiegelei. De rest van de ruimte wacht vanzelf zijn beurt. Hang ‘m op een smalle wand tussen koelkast en deur, precies waar je oog valt vóór het aanrecht. Offwhite of zacht roze muren houden de zwarte contouren scherp. Licht berken stoelen en simpel wit servies geven het werk adem. Drukke patroontegels concurreren ermee. Hanghoogte: centreer rond 150 cm voor goede leesbaarheid vanaf de hal, zo voelt de ontbijttafel niet langer als bijzaak. Eén statement aan de wand is genoeg. Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Lijken de kleuren niet te hard in een kleine keuken?
Niet als de rest van de ruimte rustig blijft. De crèmekleurige ondergrond neemt meer dan de helft van het beeld in, dus rood en oranje komen gedoseerd binnen in plaats van als een muur van kleur. Houd de muren gebroken wit, houd tegels rustig en laat dit het enige felle item zijn. In een kleine witte keuken oogt het juist vrolijk in plaats van overweldigend.
Hoe breed moet de muur zijn voor het hoge formaat?
Ongeveer 50 cm is genoeg. Het werk is twee keer zo hoog als breed, dus een smalle muur tussen een deur en een kast, of de muur aan het voeteneinde van de trap, is precies waar het voor gemaakt is. Laat aan beide kanten minstens 10 cm vrije muur, zodat de zwarte lijnen ademruimte hebben.
Past het in een eetkamer of is het echt alleen voor de keuken?
Het past in allebei. In een eetkamer hang je het liever aan de muur naast de tafel dan erboven, waar de verticale vorm de hoogte kan benutten. Geel en teal combineren mooi met lichthouten tafels en effen linnen. Vermijd rode of oranje stoelen, die zouden concurreren met het gebakken ei.
