How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Is de kleur in het echt even fel als op het scherm?

Het schilderij oogt kleurrijk door het mosterd, roze en diepblauw in de dekens, maar de achtergrond is een zacht saliegroen en het geheel is schilderachtig in plaats van posterfel. In een kamer voelt het warm en gelaagd, niet neon — dichter bij een vintage textiel dan bij een moderne grafische print.

Past het nog als de baby ouder is?

Ja. Het is eerst en vooral een schilderij en pas daarna een babykamerstuk, dus het werkt later ook in een kinderkamer, een studeerkamer of een familiewoonkamer. Het palet — zacht groen, diepblauw, mosterd, crème — past comfortabel bij volwassen meubels, dus je koopt niets dat op vijfjarige leeftijd weg moet.

Welke maat past boven een standaard ledikant?

Een middelgroot vierkant van ongeveer 50–70 cm per zijde staat goed boven een standaard ledikant of lage commode, met een handbreedte muur tussen de onderkant van het frame en de bovenkant van het meubel. Kies groter alleen als de muur breed en grotendeels leeg is — het schilderij is druk, dus het heeft wat ademruimte nodig.
