How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Komt de crème achtergrond vies over naast een felwitte badkamermuur?
Die kan iets gelig overkomen tegen spierwitte tegels, dus verf de muur waar hij hangt liever in warm gebroken wit of zacht crème. Daartegen valt de ondergrond terug en voert het marineblauw de boventoon. Welke maat moet ik nemen boven een bad?

Kleiner en de zuignappen en inkttextuur vervagen vanuit de deuropening tot een blauwe vlek. Groter en de tentakels komen in een typische Britse badkamer tegen het plafond aan.

Is dit te donker voor een kinderkamer?
Het marineblauw is diep, maar er is meer crème dan blauw, dus het geheel blijft licht. In een kinderkamer werkt het goed op een lichte muur boven een lage boekenkast, met beddengoed in effen crème of hemelsblauw. Vermijd combineren met andere marineblauwe posters, want dan wordt de muur zwaar. Eén octopus, één muur is de regel.
