Breng avondstemming in de keuken. Deze canvas met een elegante cocktail in zwarte inkt geeft de ruimte een vleugje droge humor nog vóór de eerste fles open gaat. Perfect voor die smalle strook muur tussen achterdeur en koelkast, waar eindelijk een lang formaat tot zijn recht komt.
Het scherpe zwart steekt mooi af tegen witte tegels of een licht marmeren werkblad, terwijl de warme crème ondergrond prettig blijft onder koel spotlicht. Hang ‘m verticaal: met 100 cm hoogte draagt de steel de lengte en valt de kers ongeveer op ooghoogte. Houd de plank eronder rustig: twee coupeglazen en een donkere fles zijn genoeg. Geen patronen ernaast voor de mooiste focus.
Op canvas wordt de lijn net iets zachter door de fijne weefstructuur, en een lijst is niet nodig – je kunt ‘m direct ophangen.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Wordt de crèmekleurige achtergrond geel tegen een felwitte keukenmuur?
Hij oogt warm als papier, niet geel. Tegen een zuiver witte muur lijkt de crème een zachte tint die voorkomt dat de zwarte inkt hard overkomt, en dat is precies de bedoeling. Als je keuken een koel wit heeft, hang hem dan bij een raam zodat daglicht het in balans brengt. Tegen gebroken wit of donkergroene muren valt de crème bijna weg en doet de inkt al het werk.
Hoe hoog moet ik gaan op een smalle muur?
Hoger dan je intuïtief denkt. Op een muur van ongeveer 60 cm breed oogt een tekening van 100 cm hoog goed, omdat de vorm de muur volgt in plaats van ermee te vechten. Kleiner dan dat en de fijne arcering op het glas verandert van een afstand in een grijze vlek. Laat aan beide kanten minstens een handbreedte vrije muur, zodat de steel de ruimte heeft.
Werkt dit ook ergens anders dan in een keuken of barhoek?
Ja, zolang de muur hoog en smal is. Een trappoverloop of de muur tussen twee ramen in een eetkamer passen allebei goed, en een hal bij de voordeur geeft gasten de grap al bij binnenkomst mee. In een slaapkamer voelt een cocktailreferentie minder vanzelfsprekend, en hij is te smal om in zijn eentje een brede muur boven een bank te dragen.
