Veel keukens voelen koel aan: witte tegels, een stalen kraan, een grijs werkblad, een raam op de verkeerde kant. Hang deze canvas naast de tafel en het zacht roze stucwerk geeft die hoek meteen een warmte die verlichting niet bereikt. Het diepe groen houdt het in balans: zonder dat zou het oranje schreeuwen; ermee gaat het oranje juist gloeien. Tegen witte tegels oogt het roze nog warmer, en een licht houten tafel eronder pakt mooi het crème op. Houd de rest rustig: één groen glas, een linnen doek, geen andere roodtinten in de buurt. Dit werk komt het best tot zijn recht vanaf 50 cm of groter, zodat de ruit duidelijk als patroon leest en de cocktail voelt als een uitnodiging. Op canvas komt de penseelstreek mooi naar voren – zonder glas ertussen, direct contact met fruit en kleur.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Past het roze en groen bij mijn houten keuken?
Ja, en licht hout werkt het best. Werkbladen van eiken of beuken pakken het crème in de gingham op, en het diepe groen past mooi bij de meeste houtsoorten. Bij donker notenhout of gebeitst grenen wordt het oranje het middelpunt, dus geef het een roze of gebroken witte muur achter zich om de balans te bewaren. Vermijd oranje lak in de buurt, dat botst met het fruit.

Welk formaat past bij een keukenwand?
Middelgroot is de ideale keuze. Rond 50 tot 70 cm vierkant lees je het gingham als patroon en is de kers in het glas vanaf de tafel zichtbaar. Kleiner dan 40 cm wordt het een ansichtkaart tussen de kastjes. Groter werkt in een eetkamer met een dressoir eronder, maar in een smalle keuken gaat het oranje overheersen.

Past dit alleen bij kerst?
Zeker niet. Er staat geen boom, geen sneeuw en geen slingers op, alleen sinaasappels, een drankje en een groene doek, dus het oogt het grootste deel van het jaar als een keukens stilleven. De rode draad en clementines geven het een decembergevoel als de lampjes aangaan, en het voelt net zo goed op zijn plek naast een zomertafel voor de lunch.
