How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Ziet het goud echt metallic of is het plat gedrukt?
Het goud is gedrukt als een warm, licht verouderd geelgoud — van afstand leest het metallic, maar het is platte inkt, geen folie. Onder lamplicht lijkt het te gloeien; bij diffuus daglicht oogt het iets zachter. Dat is mede waarom het goed werkt in sfeervolle ruimtes.

Zal dit een kleine kamer overweldigen?
Minder dan je zou denken. De compositie is symmetrisch en gecentreerd, waardoor het oog snel tot rust komt in plaats van af te dwalen. In een kleine woonkamer of gang fungeert het als focuspunt — houd de rest van de muur vrij zodat het kan ademen.

Werkt het ook in een lichtere, neutralere kamer of alleen in donkere interieurs?
Het werkt in beide, maar met een andere werking. In een donkere ruimte gloeit het goud en voelt het coconerend. In een crème- of off-white kamer komt het meer grafisch en architectonisch over — scherper, minder sfeervol. Combineer het in beide gevallen met warme houttinten en messing.
