Zwarte inkt steekt krachtig af tegen witte tegels en grijze voegen, terwijl de zachte crèmekleur mooi aansluit op veel keukenmuren. Daardoor oogt de schets als een natuurlijke lijn op de wand, niet als een los object. Hang hem op ooghoogte voor iemand die staat – precies waar je in de keuken beweegt. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Gaat de crèmekleurige achtergrond vloeken met een puur witte keukenmuur?

Nee, maar hij zal wel zichtbaar zijn. Op helderwit leest de crèmekleurige achtergrond als een warm vierkant, wat de meeste mensen een klinische keuken zachter vinden maken. Op gebroken wit, steen of licht greige verf verdwijnt de achtergrond bijna en lijkt de zwarte lijn direct op de muur getekend. Beide werken. Kies witte verf als je wilt dat het vierkant als object opvalt, warmere verf als je alleen de tekening wilt zien.

Welk formaat werkt naast een ontbijttafel?

Houd het klein. Tussen 30 en 40 cm vierkant past comfortabel naast een tafel voor twee of vier en blijft vanaf een stoel goed leesbaar zonder de ruimte te overheersen. Ga alleen groter als de muur breed en kaal is, want het enkele object op een lege achtergrond oogt boven 50 cm al snel verloren. Aan een smalle eindmuur is 30 cm met aan beide kanten een handbreedte vrije muur ongeveer goed.

Werkt het in een eetkamer in plaats van in een keuken?

Ja, zolang de ruimte niet te formeel is. De schets heeft het gevoel van een bistro-menukaart, dus hij past beter bij een eetkamer met eiken tafel, gebogen houten stoelen en eenvoudige muren dan bij een kamer met kroonluchter en zware gordijnen. Hang hem iets uit het midden, richting de deuropening of serveerluik, in plaats van precies midden boven een dressoir waar normaal een groter werk zou hangen.
