How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Wordt de lichte crèmekleurige achtergrond niet flets op een witte muur?
Hij oogt warmer dan een witte muur, dus je krijgt een zachte toonverschuiving in plaats van een uitgebleekt effect. Als je muren helderwit zijn, trekt een smalle zwarte lijst of zwarte canvasrand een duidelijke lijn rond het werk. Is de vierkante vorm lastig boven een bed of console?
Nee hoor — een vierkant staat netjes boven meubels zolang het ongeveer twee derde zo breed is als het meubel eronder. Centreer het en laat aan beide kanten ongeveer een handbreedte vrije muur. Boven een bed hang je het gecentreerd en iets hoger dan ooghoogte, zodat het hoofdbord het niet in de weg zit.

Kan ik het samen met andere kunst ophangen of heeft het een eigen muur nodig?
Het mag prima een eigen muur hebben, en dat is ook de eenvoudigste optie. Wil je een kleine set, houd het dan bij twee of drie werken met dezelfde warme papierkleur en zacht zwarte penseelstreken, met ruime tussenafstanden. Vermijd felle kleuren of zware patronen, omdat die de zachtheid van de inkt plat slaan.
