Sneeuwtaferelen koelen een ruimte vaak af. Deze niet. Hang hem in een hal met een noordraam en je merkt meteen het verschil. Het zachte goud van de ramen trekt de blik naar binnen, terwijl de grijze lucht eromheen de warmte rustig en echt laat aanvoelen. De lichtroze tint op het hoekhuis pakt subtiel alles met blush- of pleisterkleuren op: een roze kussen of een aardewerken pot oogt ineens bedoeld. Boven een geschilderde console in offwhite verandert een kille gang in een plek waar je even blijft stilstaan. Op een donkergroene muur lijkt de sneeuw nog helderder. Gebruik warme lampen voor het mooiste effect. Tussen Advent en Driekoningen komt dit werk volledig tot zijn recht, en in februari zorgt het koele grijs ervoor dat het niet als seizoensdecoratie voelt. Het canvas is strak gespannen op een houten frame en wordt klaar om op te hangen geleverd – niets zit tussen jou en de sneeuw.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Voelt dit niet te kerstachtig zodra de feestdagen voorbij zijn?

Minder dan je zou denken. De kransen en bomen zijn klein vergeleken met het hele terras, en het grootste deel van het beeld bestaat uit sneeuw, een grijze lucht en lichte gevels. In een hal leest het tot maart als een winterstraat. Veel mensen laten het het hele jaar hangen in een kamer met koel licht, omdat de verlichte ramen in oktober net zo goed warmte geven als in december.

Welke maat werkt boven een consoletafel in de hal?

Neem ongeveer de breedte van de console of iets smaller. Voor een console van zo’n 90 cm breed zit een vierkant van 60 cm tot 70 cm mooi, met een lamp ernaast. Kleiner en de lichtjes en raampjes verdwijnen aan het andere uiteinde van de hal. Laat een handbreedte tussen de bovenkant van de console en de onderrand zodat de lamp het niet vol zet.

Botst het zachtroze met een groene kamer?

Salie en zachtroze staan al naast elkaar in het beeld, dus een groene muur of groene bank werkt juist in het voordeel. Diep dennengroen laat de sneeuw helderder lijken en het roze rustiger. De enige groentint die je beter vermijdt is fel lime of mint, want die botst met de ingetogen tinten. Crème, grijs en gebroken wit zijn het veiligst.
