How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Is de achtergrond helderwit of crème?
Het is een warme crème, dichter bij oat dan wit. Tegen helderwitte muren zal hij iets gelig ogen, wat de meeste mensen prettig vinden — het verzacht de zwarte lijn. Als je muren koelgrijs of stralend wit zijn en je een strakke match wilt, houd dan eerst een stukje crèmekleurig papier tegen de muur om te zien of de warmte je bevalt.

Verdwijnt één dunne lijn niet op een grote muur?
Dat kan, als je hem te klein kiest. Op een brede woonkamerwand werkt een middelgroot of groot vierkant veel beter dan een kleine, en het helpt om hem boven meubels te hangen in plaats van midden in een groot leeg vlak. In gangen, slaapkamers en studeerkamers houdt een middelmaat op ooghoogte zich makkelijk staande.

Werkt het in een duo of moet het solo hangen?
Beide werkt. Twee vierkanten naast elkaar, met ongeveer 8-10 cm ertussen, ogen bewust en vullen netjes een console- of hoofdbordwand. Solo is de eenvoudigste optie als de ruimte al veel heeft. Als je het combineert, houd het tweede stuk even eenvoudig — nog een lijntekening of een simpele vorm in plaats van iets drukks.
