Eerste indruk: goud. Kijk nog eens en je ziet een pauwentuin met meer diepte. Het goud is niet vlak; het verloopt van warm honing in het midden naar bijna bruin aan de randen. Daardoor verandert het beeld mee met het licht in de kamer. Hang het op en de muur oogt meteen warmer. Lampen en kaarsen pakken de metallic glans op, terwijl de diepe blauwtinten ’s avonds nog rijker worden. Prachtig boven een schouw, boven een dressoir of aan een eetkamerwand waar je wat langer zit. Combineert mooi met fluweel, donker hout, messing details en geglazuurd keramiek. Geef het ruimte: vermijd een drukke collage van kleine lijstjes. Zet het liever niet op een spierwitte muur in fel daglicht; dit werk komt het best tot zijn recht met wat schaduw en een warme lamp in de buurt. Op canvas oogt het goud zachter en sluit de textuur perfect aan bij de schilderachtige details.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Zal de goudkleurige achtergrond er koperachtig uitzien in een kamer met koel daglicht?

Onder koel noordlicht leest het goud meer bruin en gedempt, wat sommige mensen fijner vinden. Wil je dat het gaat gloeien, hang het dan waar een lamp of kaars in de buurt staat en gebruik een warme lamp. Blijft het detail behouden op een kleinere maat?

Een deel wel, maar niet alles. De fijne takken, bloesem en het oog van de veren zijn het punt van de afbeelding en beginnen te vervagen onder ongeveer 40 cm vierkant. Is je muur klein, hang het dan dichter bij zitplaatsen zodat het van een meter of twee bekeken wordt in plaats van van ver across de kamer.

Kan het werken in een kamer die al patroonbehang heeft?

Ja, als het behang fijn van patroontje en rustig van kleur is. Dit werk heeft veel details, dus een groot bloemmotief of druk dessin erachter zal concurreren. Bij sterk behang verplaats je het naar een effen geschilderde muur of geef je het veel vrije ruimte rondom alle vier de randen.
