Over dit kunstwerk
In de jaren 50 zou dit radicaal hebben gevoeld. Nu nog steeds. Een eigentijds schilderij van baders in een bosmeer, los genoeg om als een herinnering te voelen en krachtig genoeg om in z’n eentje de muur te dragen. De ruimte verandert zodra het hangt. Diepblauw leidt de blik langs de muur, de zachtroze weerspiegeling verwarmt, en de donkergroene boomrand brengt alles in balans. Stille kamers krijgen een focuspunt. Drukke kamers komen eromheen tot rust. Hang op ooghoogte boven een bank, dressoir of bed. Het staat ook sterk in een hal waar je echt even wilt pauzeren. Combineer met linnen, licht eiken, steengoed en een paar groene planten. Geborsteld messing past er ook bij. Hang dit canvas niet tussen ander figuratief werk — geef het ruimte om te ademen. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Le bleu profond paraîtra-t-il trop lourd sur un petit mur ?

Le bleu est riche mais équilibré par des rehauts d'eau pâles, le reflet rose et une touche de vert, donc il se lit comme calme plutôt que dense. sur un mur plus petit, choisissez la taille moyenne et laissez un espace généreux de chaque côté — l'espace pour respirer évite l'effet de lourdeur.

La peinture fonctionne-t-elle au-dessus d'un lit, ou est-elle préférable dans un salon ?

Elle marche dans les deux cas. au-dessus d'un lit elle est reposante, les bleus frais aidant à apaiser la pièce. au-dessus d'un canapé elle devient un point focal évident. dans les deux cas, accrochez-la là où vous serez assis et la regarderez vraiment, pas sur un mur de passage.

Puis-je l'accrocher dans un mur de cadres avec d'autres affiches ?

Mieux vaut la laisser seule. le geste pictural et les figures ont du poids, et les entasser avec d'autres œuvres figuratives ou chargées aplatit l'effet. si vous voulez de la compagnie, placez-la sur un mur séparé des autres œuvres de la pièce, ou associez-la seulement à des motifs botaniques très discrets.
