Elke woning heeft zo’n smalle muur waar je nooit iets mee doet – tussen de badkamerdeur en de bergkast, of bovenaan de trap. Deze poster vraagt om hoogte. De perzikkleurige gloed bovenin geeft een donkere overloop hetzelfde warme effect als een lamp. Grijze sneeuw en zandkleurige steen combineren moeiteloos met kalkwit of zacht poederroze muurverf. Hang de bovenrand net iets boven ooghoogte en laat de lengte het werk doen. Houd de vloer eronder vrij; een smalle jute loper is genoeg. Verder hoeft er niets op die muur. Vanaf de onderste trede oogt de textuur als echte sneeuw, waardoor een doorgangsplek ineens een plek wordt waar je even blijft staan. Gedrukt op fine-art papier blijven de messtreken strak zichtbaar achter glas.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Werken de warme tinten in een hal zonder daglicht?

Ja, en dit is een van de betere keuzes daarvoor. Het perzik en crème in de bovenste helft werken als een verlicht raam aan het einde van een gang, dus één warme lamp op een dimmer is genoeg. Houd de wandkleur licht, gebroken wit of zacht pleisterroze, en laat de grijzen in de sneeuw de vloer oppakken in plaats van ermee te botsen.

Hoe groot moet hij zijn op een trapbordes?

Ga groot. Vanaf de onderste trede kijk je schuin omhoog vanaf drie of vier meter afstand, en een kleine versie wordt dan een streep. Vanaf ongeveer 100 cm hoog zijn de twee figuren leesbaar en zie je de messtructuur echt als textuur. Centreer hem op de muur van het bordes met de bovenrand net boven ooghoogte, en laat de omliggende wand leeg.

Lees je de scène van afstand als een straat, of alleen als textuur?

Allebei, en dat is juist de charme. Van verder weg lees je hem duidelijk als een besneeuwde straat met een voertuig, een paar auto’s en twee mensen die het trottoir schoonmaken. Van dichtbij valt het geheel uiteen in vlakken verf, dus het beeld komt goed tot zijn recht in de hal waar mensen er dicht langs lopen en in de woonkamer waar ze het vanaf de bank zien.
