De meeste stadsgezichten koelen een ruimte af. Dit werk verwarmt haar. De stoffige roze lucht vult de wand en geeft een grijze middaghoek een zachte avondgloed. Donker olijf en baksteenrood liggen laag en stevig, waardoor het roze niet zoet wordt. Hang op een smalle muur bovenaan de trap, waar het slanke formaat tot zijn recht komt. Tegen kalkroze of warm wit lost het beeld bijna op en blijven vooral de verlichte ramen zichtbaar. Op een diep groene of marineblauwe muur komt het naar voren en oogt het rood intenser. Walnoot in de buurt versterkt het effect; koelgrijs meubilair werkt ertegen. Houd de wandverlichting warm (rond 2700K) zodat de gele ramen echt ‘aan’ lijken. De fineart-papierkwaliteit houdt het roze mat en poederig – precies zoals bedoeld.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Wordt de roze lucht niet te lief in een volwassen kamer?

Niet zodra hij aan de muur hangt. Het stoffige roze zit dichter bij oud pleisterwerk dan bij blush, en de donkergroene toren en baksteenrode vlakken trekken het geheel naar beneden. Op een diepgroene, navy of warm witte muur leest het als avondlicht in plaats van als kleurkeuze. Het wordt vooral te zoet naast lichtgrijs of veel hoogglans wit, dus houd dat soort muren liever uit de buurt.

Hoe groot moet ik gaan op een trapbordes?

Ga groter dan veilig voelt. Op een bordes zie je hem vanaf onderaan de trap, dus een kleine versie wordt al snel een donkere streep. Ongeveer 90 tot 120 cm hoog laat de spitsen boven ooghoogte uitkomen en houdt de verlichte ramen leesbaar vanaf de hal beneden. Meet de muur eerst op en laat aan elke kant minstens een handbreedte vrij.

Werkt dit in een kamer met koele grijze muren?

Dat kan, maar dan gaat hij wel een beetje in discussie. Koel grijs duwt het roze richting mauve en maakt het baksteenrood vlakker. Als de muren grijs blijven, breng dan warmte dichtbij, bijvoorbeeld met een walnoot console, een roestkleurig kussen of een warm lampje eronder. Beter nog: hang hem op die ene muur die je wel warm wilt schilderen en laat het grijs ertegenover zitten.
