Witte tegels zijn meedogenloos: elke vetvlek zie je meteen en veel kunst oogt onrustig tegen het ruitpatroon. Zwart op crème past daar wél rustig bij. Hang deze poster boven de eettafel in de keuken: de crème voelt als warm pleisterwerk naast het harde wit, terwijl het zwart subtiel terugkomt in de kraan, een pannengreep of een hanglamp. De tegels blijven strak en helder; het beeld haalt de stugheid eruit. Geef de poster de volle breedte van de tafel, ongeveer 100 cm, en hang hem zo dat de onderrand op ongeveer een onderarm boven het tafelblad zit. Houd de plank eronder eenvoudig: één houten plank, eventueel een pot met lepels. Druk patroonwerk in de buurt maakt het geheel onrustig. Op fine-art papier komt de licht geschuurde achtergrond mooi als papierstructuur naar voren, en een zwarte lijst zet het lijnenspel strak af.

How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Wordt de crèmekleurige achtergrond niet vies naast witte keukenkasten?

De crème is warm, maar leest als papier in plaats van geel, dus naast felwitte kasten oogt het als perkament, niet als vergeeld. Een harde zwarte rand eromheen helpt, omdat je oog de crème dan naast iets duidelijkers ziet. Op off-white of greige kasten valt het verschil bijna weg en doet het zwart al het werk.

Hoe breed moet ik gaan boven een keukentafel?

Stem af op de tafel. Bij een tafel van 120 cm breed past de poster op ongeveer 100 cm breed, met de onderrand zo'n 20 tot 25 cm boven het oppervlak. Kleiner en de drie vormen worden sierstukken en oogt de muur kaal. Boven een langere eetbank of een rij open planken kun je voor het grootste formaat gaan en de hele muur ermee dragen.

Werkt het ook buiten de keuken?

Ja, als de ruimte dichtbij is. In een eetkamer houdt het de kook sfeer levend zonder ook maar één bord in beeld. In een hal die naar de keuken leidt werkt het als richtingaanwijzer, en de lange vorm past goed op een gangmuur. Slaapkamers zijn de enige plek waar het uit context voelt, omdat gerei om mee te koken vreemd oogt boven een kussen.
