How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Is het kasteel duidelijk herkenbaar, of is het te los geschilderd?

Ja, het is duidelijk herkenbaar. Het kasteel staat bovenaan het beeld op zijn rots met de vlag in top, en de vorm van de vestingmuren en de ronde toren is goed te zien. Van dichtbij is het penseelwerk los, maar op één à twee meter afstand zie je een heel herkenbaar Edinburgh-beeld.

Botst de blauwe lucht met een warme kamer vol hout?

Nee. Het blauw zit boven veel warme zandsteen-, perzik- en honingtinten, dus het leest als een helder accent in plaats van als een koel vlak. In kamers met eiken- of walnoothout en linnen zorgt het juist voor een frisse lift. Als je muren al sterk blauw zijn, hang het dan liever aan een rustigere muur.

Werkt de vierkante vorm boven een brede bank?

Dat doet hij, in een middelgroot of groter formaat. Een vierkant heeft meer hoogte nodig dan een liggend werk, dus houd ongeveer 20 tot 25 cm aan tussen de rugleuning van de bank en de onderkant, en centreer hem. Boven een heel brede bank is een royaal formaat nodig, zodat hij niet verloren oogt aan de muur.
