How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Lijken de groenen vaal in een slaapkamer met weinig daglicht?
Nee, en weinig licht helpt vaak juist. Het donkergroen achter in het beeld verdiept in een kamer op het noorden, en de crème hoeden steken daar helderder tegen af. Een warme bedlamp van 2700K zorgt dat het olijf niet grijs wordt. Vermijd koelwitte lampen; die maken het mos vlak en het geheel khaki.

Hoe breed moet ik gaan boven een tweepersoonsbed van kingsize?
Richt je erop dat het beeld ongeveer twee derde van de breedte van het hoofdbord beslaat, dus rond de 120 cm breed voor een standaard UK king. Op dat formaat komt de ring van hoeden mooi uit en geeft het gras aan de randen de muur ademruimte. Alles onder de 100 cm breed oogt al snel als een ansichtkaart op een grote muur.

Werkt het ook in de eetkamer of is het echt alleen voor de slaapkamer?
Het past heel goed in de eetkamer, vooral bij een grenen of eiken tafel en een geschilderde muur in salie of kitkleur. Door het lage contrast overheerst het gesprek of kaarslicht niet. Hang het iets lager dan je instinct zegt, zodat de onderrand ongeveer 25 cm boven een bankje of dressoir zit, en zorg dat hanglampen er niet overheen vallen.
