How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Voelt het zachte blauw koud aan in een warm gekleurde kamer?

Dat kan als je kamer sterk leunt op goud, mosterd of terracotta met overal donker hout. Het schemerblauw en saliegroen zijn van nature koel. Als je kamer lichte eik, crème en een paar gedempte groentinten combineert, past het er mooi in. Zet er ’s avonds een warme lamp bij en het voelt snel warmer aan.

Is de berg het hoofdonderwerp of concurreert de straat ermee?

Mount Fuji bepaalt de bovenste helft van het beeld, maar deelt het kader met de straat, huizen en elektriciteitsdraden. Het is een geleefde blik in plaats van een schone ansichtkaart. Als je een puur bergbeeld wilt zonder iets anders erin, is dit waarschijnlijk niet de juiste — het is bedoeld om aan te voelen als een echte plek op een echt moment.

Werkt het in een kleine slaapkamer?

Ja. In het medium formaat staat het mooi boven een lage bank, ladekast of hoofdbord op een muur van ongeveer 70 cm en groter. De vierkante vorm werkt goed in kleinere ruimtes omdat het het oog niet zijwaarts trekt, en het rustige kleurenpalet houdt een kleine kamer kalm in plaats van druk.
