How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Botst de roze achtergrond met warm witte of crèmekleurige muren?
Die past juist goed bij beide. De achtergrond is een stoffig, licht bruinroze in plaats van een fel roze, waardoor hij warm oogt naast muren in crème, oat en putty. Op koelere grijswitte muren lijkt hij iets rozer, en dat is ook prima. Zijn je muren sterk geel, hang hem dan aan de muur die het minste directe zonlicht krijgt.

Blijft het detail nog goed zichtbaar in een kleiner formaat?
De pauw en de bloeiende struiken blijven ook klein overeind, maar de dunne bloesemtakken in de bovenste helft beginnen onder ongeveer 40 cm vierkant te vervagen. Heb je alleen ruimte voor een klein formaat, hang hem dan op een plek waar mensen dichtbij langskomen, zoals in een hal of naast een bureau, in plaats van hoog boven een bank.

Moet hij als paar worden opgehangen om bewust over te komen?
Nee. Het is een volledige tuinscène met een eigen beweging van links naar rechts, dus één vierkant werkt prima als los statement. Wil je toch twee stukken, hang dan een tweede decoratief stuk op dezelfde maat met een duidelijke tussenruimte, en houd het tweede rustiger zodat de pauw het eerste is waar je oog op valt.
