How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Voelt het blauwgrijs koud aan in een kamer op het noorden?
Minder dan je zou verwachten. Het moerasgras brengt genoeg roest en goud om warmte vast te houden, zelfs in vlak licht, en de donkere oevers geven het onderste derde deel stevigheid. Waar het lastig wordt, is op een puur witte muur, die de lucht richting grijs duwt. Verf de muur in stopverfkleur of gebroken wit en zet een warme lamp aan één kant, dan oogt het water zacht in plaats van koud.

Hoe breed moet ik gaan boven een kingsize bed?
Kies een breedte van twee derde tot drie kwart van het hoofdbord; bij een standaard UK king is dat ongeveer 120 tot 140 cm breed. Omdat het formaat 2:1 is, blijft de hoogte laag en past het mooi tussen hoofdbord en plafond. Hang het met ongeveer 20 cm vrije muur boven het hoofdbord en de horizonlijn komt net boven ooghoogte vanuit bed uit.

Verdwijnt de zilverreiger als je verder weg staat?
Nee, en juist op afstand werkt hij het best. De vogel is klein in het beeld, maar staat als het helderste wit tegen het donkerste gras, waardoor je oog hem van verderop eerst vindt. Van dichtbij nemen water en wolken het over. Zorg voor een vrij zicht vanaf de deuropening en de zilverreiger doet zijn werk als blikvanger zonder te schreeuwen.
