Met een witte lijst blijft het teal fris en zonnig, en krijgt de rode octopus een speelse, maritieme knipoog – perfect boven het bad of in een kinderkamer naast gelakte lambrisering. Met een zwarte lijst oogt het rood strakker en wordt het een volwaardig galerijstuk, dat zich moeiteloos staande houdt boven de bank in een volwassen interieur. Beide opties werken. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Vloekt het teal met een blauwe badkamer?

Dat hangt van het blauw af. Tegen navy of diep inktblauw oogt het teal bewust en spat het rood ervan af. Tegen licht hemelblauw of duck egg botsen de twee juist, omdat ze te dicht bij elkaar zitten zonder echt te matchen. Zijn je tegels lichtblauw, hang hem dan liever aan een witte muur in de ruimte en houd het blauw op vloerniveau.

Is het te fel om boven een ledikant te hangen?

Niet als het het enige felle element is. Baby’s zien hoog contrast lang voordat ze details zien, dus het rood op teal valt meer op dan een zacht pastel. Houd beddengoed wit of oat, hang hem naast het ledikant in plaats van er direct boven, en voeg niet nog meer kleur toe op dezelfde muur. Eén luid beeld leest als vrolijk, drie als rommelig.

Werkt het in een kamer die volwassenen echt gebruiken?

Ja, zolang je er vol voor gaat. Zie het als een gedurfd schilderij in plaats van een kindertekening.
