How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is most of the image really just pencil on cream paper?
Ja — dat is het karakter van het werk. Mucha tekende het volledige ontwerp in lichte potloodlijnen en werkte alleen één kwadrant in kleur af, dus het grootste oppervlak is warm crèmekleurig papier met zachte grijze margrietrondeeltjes en geometrische randlijnen. Het leest als een ingetogen, bedachtzaam werk in plaats van een opvallende poster.

Will the yellow and green section feel too small in a large room?
Het gekleurde kwadrant is het focuspunt maar de hele compositie draagt de muur. In een grote ruimte: kies een groter formaat zodat de potlooddetails ook van een paar meter leesbaar blijven, en hang het boven een substantieel meubelstuk zoals een schrijftafel of dressoir zodat het een anker heeft.

Does it clash with other Mucha posters?
Het past juist goed bij afgewerkte Mucha-werken omdat het het proces erachter toont. Combineer het met één of twee figuratieve posters en een kleinere botanische studie, en houd de omliggende muur rustig zodat de potloodlijnen niet wegvallen naast de fellere werken.
