How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Wordt het paars niet te sterk in een kleine keuken?
Niet als de rest van de muur rustig blijft. De crème achtergrond neemt ongeveer een derde van het beeld in en werkt als buffer, dus op een gebroken witte muur oogt het paars als één duidelijke vorm in plaats van een kleurvlak. Houd tegels wit of licht en vermijd andere paarse objecten in de buurt. Hang hem in een smalle keuken op de kopse muur, niet langs de hele run.

Welke maat past op een vierkante muur tussen een raam en een deur?
Meet de opening op en mik op iets meer dan de helft daarvan. Bij een opening van 90 cm betekent dat 50 tot 60 cm breed, zodat de bladeren en de grote bloem vanuit de deuropening leesbaar blijven zonder het raamkozijn te overladen. Kleiner dan 40 cm en de smalle blaadjes vallen samen tot één schijf. Groter dan 80 cm en de opening lijkt al snel een lijst voor de print.

Werkt hij ook op groene muren, of alleen op wit?
Ja, mits met zorg. Een licht saliegroene of zachte olijfkleurige muur pakt de bladeren op en maakt het paars warmer, en de crème achtergrond voorkomt dat de print wegzakt in de verf. Donkergroen of flesgroen werkt minder goed, omdat de bladeren dan in de muur verdwijnen. Vermijd mint en elke groentint met een blauwe ondertoon, die trekken het paars kouder.
