Geef een donkere kamer direct meer warmte. Tegen een marineblauwe of diep donkergroene muur zuigt de ruimte vaak daglicht op en voelt het koeler. Deze poster brengt het evenwicht terug: het gebrande oranje van de pompoenen gloeit als lamplicht, terwijl de bijna zwarte achtergrond wegvalt in een donkere wand. Daardoor lijkt het fruit in de kamer te staan in plaats van op het papier. Past bijzonder mooi bij warme materialen. Hang hem boven een walnotenhouten tafel, combineer met een leren fauteuil of wijnrode fluweel—de roest- en pruimtinten komen overal subtiel terug. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Lijkt de zwarte achtergrond als een gat op een witte muur?
Dat kan, als de rest van de kamer licht en helder is. Op een witte muur wordt de donkere ondergrond een sterk vlak en heb je donker meubilair of een diep vloerkleed nodig om het in balans te brengen. Makkelijker is een middel- of donkere muur, diep groen, navy of houtskool, waar de ondergrond wegvalt en alleen de pompoenen en bladeren naar voren komen.

Hoe breed moet ik gaan boven een driezitsbank?
Richt op twee derde van de bankbreedte, dus ongeveer 120 tot 140 cm voor een standaard driezitsbank. De verhouding 2:1 is lang en laag, wat goed past bij de lijn van de bank, en de details in de hortensia’s en bessen komen alleen op die schaal echt uit. Hang hem met de onderrand ongeveer 20 cm boven de rugkussens.

Werkt dit alleen in de herfst?
Nee. Oranje en pruim lezen wel als herfst, maar de zwarte ondergrond en de behandeling in oude-meestersstijl maken het tot een schilderij in plaats van seizoensdecoratie. In een eetkamer met donker hout en kaarsen oogt hij in februari net zo goed als in oktober. Hij voelt alleen seizoensgebonden als je hem omringt met echte pompoenen en gedroogde bladeren.
