In de late middag vangt het crèmekleur de schuine zon en lijkt het paneel los te komen van het diepgroen erachter. ’s Avonds, onder een enkele warme lamp, nemen terracotta en zachtroze het over en krijgt het werk de sfeer van een haardvuur. In de ochtend is het licht vlakker, maar de kleuren blijven krachtig en in balans. Komt het best tot zijn recht op een krijtwitte of warme pleistermuur; zo blijven de groentinten puur. Hang de poster op hoofhoogte op een overloop of trapportaal en houd de muur eromheen leeg. Combineert mooi met een donkere houten of zwarte metalen trapleuning. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Vallen de kleuren niet te fel uit in een kleine hal?

Minder dan je zou verwachten. Het crème bedekt het grootste deel van het oppervlak, dus vanaf onder aan de trap oogt het werk licht met kleur eronder in plaats van andersom. Op een warme gebroken witte muur komt het diepe groen snel tot rust. Waar het wel drukker kan voelen, is tegen koel grijze verf, omdat dat het oranje naar voren duwt. Houd de muur warm en de hal blijft rustig.

Welke maat werkt op een muur bij de trap?

Ga hoger dan je instinct zegt. Rond 100 cm hoog komen de penseelstreken los van elkaar en krijg je het gevoel van beweging dat het werk de moeite waard maakt om elke dag langs te lopen. Onder 80 cm wordt het patroon meer textuur en oogt de muur snel geforceerd. De breedte is minder belangrijk, omdat het formaat van nature slank is en aan beide kanten ruimte laat voor een leuning of deurkozijn.

Werkt het ook ergens anders dan in een hal?

De smalle eindmuur van een eetkamer is de andere natuurlijke plek, op ooghoogte zodat het werk naar de tafel kijkt. Het past ook goed in de ruimte tussen twee ramen in een woonkamer, waar daglicht van beide kanten het roze en terracotta levendig houdt. Slaapkamers zijn de enige plek om twee keer over na te denken, omdat de drukke streken het oog in beweging houden terwijl je juist rust wilt.
