Kies je voor een eiken lijst, dan mengt het roestrode tintje mooi met het hout voor een warmere, rustigere uitstraling; perfect op de overloop met gestucte muren en een juten loper. Een witte lijst legt de nadruk weer op het papier en laat de lichte ondergrond het werk doen in een luchtige ruimte. Zelf kies ik zwart: dat houdt de hoge, smalle vorm mooi bij elkaar op een smalle wand en voorkomt dat het rood visueel ‘uitwaaiert’ de kamer in. How do I frame an art print?

Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

  • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
  • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
  • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
  • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

  1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

  2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

  3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Hoe breed moet de wand zijn voor dit werk?

Het rood in dit werk is een gebrande, bruinig rode tint, dicht bij gebakken kleitegel, dus een terracotta vloer eronder maakt de hal juist bewust samengesteld. De kleuren om te vermijden zijn fellere rood- en oranjetinten in meubels of accessoires op ooghoogte, zoals een scharlaken loper of een oranje kussen in de buurt.

Past het in een ruimte met veel hout?
Ja, zolang het hout één toon heeft. Lichte eiken vloeren en een gepleisterde wand laten het rood warmte geven. Donker notenhout of gebeitste planken geven een sfeervoller resultaat dat nog steeds werkt, omdat de zwarte marks in het werk aansluiten op het donkere hout. Gemengde houtsoorten in één hal zijn de enige situatie waarin het druk begint te voelen, dus houd het hout consistent.
